New Urbana Mobile App
Users of the Urbana Single City Card can install the new Urbana mobile app on their Android or iOS smartphones, which shall serve as a virtual card. The most important upgrades included in the new app are:
- Contactless validation near the validator on LPP buses via Bluetooth technology,
- Top-up directly with payment cards,
- Purchase of time-based tickets,
- Easy overview of the balance,
- Access to information on all forms of urban mobility,
- Route planning via a multimodal interface,
- Paying bus rides for more persons and/or zones,
- Buying tickets on intercity buses without contacting the driver,
- Easy announcement of passengers with disabilities,
- Opening gates upon the entry to closed car parks and parking garages, and contactless payment of parking fee,
- Contactless use of P+R parking services,
- Viewing history of driving, parking and topping up,
- Obtaining a virtual tourist card.
The app offers a friendly and simple user experience for smartphone owners with Android 6.0 or higher and iOS 13.0 or higher operation systems.
For urban passenger transport services, the app offers everything that offers also the physical Urbana card. You can pay for your LPP bus ride, also for several passengers and areas at the same time, and transfer for free within 90 minutes. You can top up your Urbana app account with MasterCard and Visa cards, as well as with the Valú smart wallet. You can also use the app to monitor your account balance and validation history, view bus arrival schedule, plan your route around the city and access travel information.
